The inserting tool for screwing in threaded rods has a receiving part (1), through which a threaded bore (2) passes and which is received in a blind-hole bore (4) of a driver (3). The receiving part (1) can be axially displaced with respect to the driver (3) by means of a ball-screw spindle (6). The axial displaceability of the receiving part (1) within the blind-hole bore (4) is limited by a stop (5) and a limiting element (8), arranged opposite the stop, in the form of a disc with central through-hole (9) for the threaded rod. The stressing of the threaded rods in the inserting tool can thus be released in a simple way after the screwing-in operation. <IMAGE>
