The invention relates to a high-frequency power circuit breaker having at least one reed contact which is fused in a glass bulb and having at least one control coil, the reed contact being at high-voltage potential and the control coil surrounding the reed contact at a distance in an annular shape and being operatively connected to it. In order further to increase the dielectric strength of such a switch with a design which is as simple as possible, it is proposed according to the invention to connect the control coil by means of connecting lines to the high-voltage potential of the reed contact.
