An inflatable bed for small children may be used both as a seat and as a travelling bed. The bed is made of plastics and has various separately inflatable elements, including a support (1) upon which the child sits or lies, a rim (2) that surrounds the support (1) on three sides, a wedge-shaped outer wall (4) in the side view linked to the rim (2), and a second inflatable rim (6) linked to the other edge of the outer wall (4) and having the same circumference as the outer wall. The rim (6) forms the body that supports and stabilises the bed on the floor. In order to slant the support (1) into the seating position, the rim (2) may be pressed against the second rim (6) approximately in the middle of its length by means of a link (5) combined with eyelets. The inclination of the support (1) may be adjusted by inflating the outer wall (4) to a lesser or greater degree. By returning the bed by 180 DEG , it may be used as a sleeping bed with the inflated outer wall (4) acting as a windscreen or sunscreen and the support (1) at the lowest horizontal position.
