7651-002 A combustion system is provided having a combustion chamber with an intake and an outlet. A vaporizer is located at the intake of the combustion chamber for introducing a mixture of a conventional fuel and water heated to at least about 1472.degree.F (800.degree.C) into the combustion chamber. The fuel and heated water combust in the combustion chamber to produce heat and other byproducts which exit through the outlet of the combustion chamber, thereby reducing consumption of the conventional fuel up to 30 per cent or more to produce a given amount of heat.
