The present invention provides the use in the manufacture of a medicament for treatment of graft-versus-host disease of hydroxychloroquine. The invention also provides the use in the manufacture of a medicament for suppressing alloreactivity arising from reaction of donor T lymphocytes against recipient cells of hydroxychloroquine.
