<p>Sewage and other similar aqueous sludges are disposed of by dewatering to a solids content of 60% to 80% by weight, and then passing the sludge to a reactor with a plasma source, where it is converted to gas and a slag. Energy from the gas can be used to dewater the sludge, and the slag collected can be used as a building material.</p> |
