A harvester (lifter-loader) of root crops includes two very wide front driving and guiding wheels (3, 4), lifting members (6) mounted at the front and a system for simultaneous cleaning and conveying directing the root crops to a large-capacity hopper. The harvester includes two turbines (7, 8) driven in rotation (F7, F8) under which there is mounted a set of rollers (9, 10, 11) for transporting the root crops as far as a conveyor belt (13) situated between the said front wheels (3, 4).
