<p>Process for evaporating and heating liquid hydrogen, liquid helium or liquid neon by indirect heat exchange with a circulating medium, cooling down as a result, of a primary circulation system, which, after it has cooled down, is compressed, heated and expanded so as to do work, in the course of which the primary circulating medium, between its compression and heating, is additionally heated by indirect heat exchange with a circulating medium, cooling down as a result, of a secondary circulation system, which, after it has cooled down, is likewise compressed, heated and expanded so as to do work, and the heating of the primary circulating medium carried out by indirect heat exchange with the secondary circulation system takes place at a point at which the temperature of the primary circulating medium is below the ambient temperature. Helium, nitrogen, neon or hydrogen is used as the circulating medium for the primary or secondary circuit, the circulating media, at each point of the primary or secondary circulation system, having a pressure which is above their critical pressure.</p> |
