PURPOSE:To clean and dry simply and rapidly an inserting part of an endoscope by feeding a liq. while the inserting part of the endoscope is pulled into a cleaning container on the inner face of which brushes are planted. CONSTITUTION:When an inserting part 3 is pinched between pinching parts and a winding reel 21 is wound up by actuating a motor 22, the inserting part 3 passes through a lid member 17 and advances into a cleaning container 13. A cleaning liq. is simultaneously fed from a liq. feeding piping 15 and the excess liq. can be discharged from a liq. discharging piping 16. The cleaning liq. is fed in accordance with that the contaminated inserting part 3 is pulled into the cleaning container 13 and it is brushed by means of brushes 14 provided on the inner face of the cleaning container 13. When the inserting part 3 is inserted to a specified position, the motor is stopped and the inserting part 3 is pulled out. The winding reel 21 is reversely rotated and the inserting part 3 is pulled out while a wire 20 is pulled out. At this time, as the inserting part 3 is brushed in the presence of the cleaning liq., it is completely cleaned and is taken out and when pulling out is performed while the outside of the cleaning container 13 is covered with a fabric, drying is also performed during this operation. |
