PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, containing a specific milk protein mixture, lactose, fats and minerals in a specified proportion, excellent in nutritional balance and useful as childrearing milk powder, etc. CONSTITUTION:This milk protein composition contains (A) a milk protein mixture at (1/1) to (3/7) ratio of casein proteins to whey proteins in an amount of 30.0-85.0wt.% in a solid substance, (B) lactose in an amount of 6.0-60.0wt.% in the solid substance, (C) fats in an amount of 1.0-7.0wt.% in the solid substance and (D) minerals in an amount of 3.0-7.2wt.% in the solid substance. The composition of the minerals in the solid substance is in the following proportions: 0.07-0.60wt.% sodium, 0.45-2.10wt.% potassium, 0.05-1.20wt.% chlorine, 0.75-1.50wt.% calcium, 0.07-0.20wt.% magnesium and 0.30-1.00-wt.% phosphorus. |
