PURPOSE:To stably provide nonaqueous secondary batteries having good coated properties and excellent self-discharge properties. CONSTITUTION:A nonaqueous secondary battery is composed of a negative electrode having a material which can absorb and desorb a light metal or its alloy or lithium ion as a negative electrode active material, a positive electrode having a metal oxide as a positive electrode active material, a nonaqueous electrolytic liquid in which an alkali metal salt is dissolved, and a separator. In the process to sinter the positive electrode active material at the time of preparation, a first sintering is carried out at 450-800 deg.C for 3-100 hours and continuously sintering is carried out at sintering temperature higher than the first sintering temperature by 50-600 deg.C for 0.5-50 hours and then cooling is carried out at 0.1-25 deg.C/min to give the positive electrode active material. |
