PURPOSE:To miniaturize and to reduce price of the equipment. CONSTITUTION:Respective QCIF image encoded data received from respective terminals are parallelly BCH decoded by BCH decoding circuits 60-1 to, 60-4 and stored 10 reception buffers 62-1 to 62-4. A decoding control circuit 112 investigates the storage conditions of the respective reception buffers 62 and selects any one reception buffer 62, where data over one frame are received, with time division and those stored image encoded data are read out and decoded by circuits 66-80. All the memory spaces of frame memories 92 and 94 are divided into the certain number of memory spaces corresponding to the number of connected lines and allocated to the respective terminals. The restored image data are stored in the memory space of the frame memory 92 or 94 corresponding to the transmitting terminal. |
