PURPOSE:To easily set a line head and a line tail indent of a document and to facilitate column set editing by equipping a control means with a specific array control part, a cursor control part, and a line tail indent control part. CONSTITUTION:This document processor is equipped with a control part 103 which controls the display of a display means 102 by receiving the output of an input means 101. The control means 103 is equipped with the array control part 103a, cursor control part 103b, and line tail indent control part 103c. The array control part 103a arrays and displays characters, inputted from a character symbol input part 101a, in plural lines each consisting of N characters per a line. The cursor control part 103b displays an inputted symbol at the cursor position of the display means 102. Then when a line tail indent symbol is displayed at a (p)th (p<n) character position from an optional line tail, the line tail indent control part 103c makes a carriage return at the (p+1)th character position from the line tail and rearray in the input order to characters of the respective lines following the line including the line tail indent symbol. |
