PURPOSE:To prevent an original from being damaged, and to make a device quiet in sound and high in productivity by making possible jointly the sidelong reading and the fix reading of the sheet original. CONSTITUTION:A sheet original P is introduced to a platen glass 105 of the image forming device 100 through inside a transporting path 3 of an RDF 1 and stood by in the prescribed stand-by position. A read-out means is fixed in an optional position, the transfer of the sheet original P is started by the sidelong reading starting signal, and at the time the leading end reaches the read-out means, the sidelong reading of the sheet original P is started by outputting the picture tip signal. In the case of forming the image for the plural part, the image is read by moving the read-out means back and forth, in the state of fixing the sheet original P performed the sidelong reading at first in the fix reading position. |
