PURPOSE:To speedily hand an air ticket to a passenger by inquiring a left ticket of an automatic ticket check device from a terminal if the passenger leaves the ticket behind, and re-issuing a ticket after confirmation. CONSTITUTION:The ticket check system 1 consists of an automatic checkin device 2 which is installed in a place distant from an airport, a host computer 4 which is connected to the automatic checkin device 2 by a communication line 3, and a ticket issuing terminal 6 which is connected to the host computer 4 by a communication line 6 and installed in the airport. If the passenger notices that the air ticket discharged by the automatic checkin device 2 is left and reports that, a clerk operates the ticket issuing terminal 6 installed in the airport. When necessary data are inputted to the ticket issuing terminal 6, an instruction for reading magnetic data on the left air ticket is sent to the automatic checkin device 2 through the communication lines 5 and 3. Then the ticket is reissued once it becomes evident that the left air ticket corresponds to the corresponding ticket. |
