<p>PURPOSE:To provide the two-piece golf ball having the nature of the ball hitting feel approximate to the ball hitting feel of a yarn wound golf ball and the flying performance intrinsic to the two-piece golf ball. CONSTITUTION:This two-piece golf ball consists of the core formed of a rubber compsn. contg. base material rubber, cocrosslinking agent and org. peroxide and a cover contains 20 to 30 pts.wt. cocrosslinking agent per 100 pts.wt. base material rubber. The hardness of the arbitrary part from the center to the surface in display by a JIS-C type hardness meter is in a range from 70 to 80 and the hardness difference in the arbitrary part is <=5. In addition, the two-piece golf ball has a compression deformation quantity of 3.1 to 3.8mm when applied with an initial load of 10kg to final load of 130kg.</p> |
