<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an auto-changer device capable of attaining various functions for detecting the presence/absence of a medium (disk, etc.) by using a medium confirmation sensor, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse motor 3 is rotated, a medium carrier part 8 is moved to the left or the right. Initial values of a number and a detecting position of each slot 6a is set, and a final stopping position is set, and also an interruption timer is started, and an electric condition for rotating a pulse motor 3 is set, and then a stop decision processing is performed by a main processing means. When the interruption timer is timed out, a subprocessing means is started up. Upon this start-up, the motor 3 is rotated by one pluse by the subprocessing means, and when the present position is equal to a detecting position, medium existence information for showing whether a medium exists in this slot 6a or not is stored, and its slot number and detecting position are renewed, and upon arrival of the medium carrier part 8 at the final stopping position, stop processing is then performed. Upon completion of processing of the subprocessing means, the stop decision processing of the main processing means is carried out.</p> |
