<p>PURPOSE:To realize a small structure and enable manufacturing at a low cost by transmitting torque, at the time of non-exciting, through engagement of recessed parts with projection parts of respective opposing faces by means of spring pressing force, and exciting to release the engagement. CONSTITUTION:This clutch is provided with an armature 1 formed with recessed parts and projection parts with a specified step difference in the circumferential direction, and a hub frame 3 formed with recessed parts and projection parts with a specified step difference in correspondence to those recessed parts and the projection parts. Torque from a rotor 2, at the time of non-exciting of a coil 5, is transmitted through sliding control bolts 13 fitted between the rotor 2 and the armature 1 by pressing the armature 1 to the hub frame 3 by means of pressing force of a spring provided between the rotor 2 and the armature 1 to engage the recessed parts with the projection parts formed between both the members 1, 3. Torque transmission is released by attracting the armature 1 to a side of the rotor 2 through exciting of the coil 5 to release engagement of both the members 1, 2.</p> |
