<p>PURPOSE:To accurately prevent the free play of a tape reel in a stored tape cartridge caused by vibration, etc., occurring during the hand carrying and the consequent detachment of a magnetic tape or occurrence of cinching phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:In a tape cartridge carrying case 10 having a tape cartridge storing part H provided with positioning raised parts for positioning and storing a tape cartridge 30 packed into engagement with the reel hubs 35A and 36A of a tape reel, a tape free play limiting member 50 having a base part 51 and a limiting piece 52 projecting integrally from the base part 51 is brought close to the positioning raised part and is set into engagement with a locking recess part 28A formed in the bottom part of a tape cartridge receiving recess part 12. The limiting piece 52 is made to locate between the rotation stopping rib parts formed on the reel hubs 35A and 36A.</p> |
