PURPOSE:To improve thermal stability and light resistance, to enhance brightness and color purity and to reduce a cost by forming thermally migratable dyestuff of dyestuff having a dissociatable substitutent and containing a dyestuff fixing agent into a receptive layer. CONSTITUTION:Thermally transferred images having mosaic patterns are successively transferred in arbitrary order by using an image receiving material having three kinds of thermal transfer dyestuff donative materials to yield blue, green and red dyestuff images and the receptive layer, by which the blue, green and red mosaic patterns are formed. Three kinds of the thermal transfer dyestuff donative materials to yield the dyestuff images of yellow, magenta and cyan are otherwise successively transferred in arbitrary order, by which the blue, green and red dyestuff images are formed in the receptive layer. The thermally migratable dyestuff has the dissociatable substituent. The dyestuff fixing agent is used as the material to receive the thermally migratable dyestuff. The dyestuff donative materials are dissolved or dispersed together with the dyestuff and the binder resin into a suitable solvent and the soln. is applied on a substrate or this soln. is printable on the subatrate by a printing method, such as gravure method. |
