PURPOSE:To make a correcting processing and further a KANJI(Chinese character) input processing efficient by easily specifying language units to be corrected. CONSTITUTION:Supposing a KANJI input system having a KANJI conversion part 1 which converts a reading input to KANJI by using a dictionary and grammar data base 4, a document storage part 2 which stores the conversion result, and a display 3, this processing system consists of a control symbol addition part 5 which generates features representing respective language units, for example, the reading and accent of the character at the head of each language unit and the radical name of KANJI as control symbols as to individual language units obtained by dividing the reading by the KANJI conversion part 1, a control symbol storage means 6 which stores the generated control symbols, a display means 7 which displays the KANJI conversion results and control symbols in pairs, a correction input means 8 which inputs the language units to be corrected and correction contents with a function key indicating the control symbols and correction contents, and a correcting process means 9 which receives the correction input, determines the language units to be corrected, and makes the KANJI conversion part 1 perform a correcting processing corresponding to the correction contents. |
