PURPOSE:To provide a document processor which can perform a rearranging or selecting processing even for data of one unit consisting of an optional different number of lines. CONSTITUTION:The document processor having a rearranging or selecting function for document data is equipped with a document data storage means 4 which is stored with document data having plural one-unit data consisting of an information group in specific format consisting of an optional number of lines, a reference phrase storage means 5 which is previously stored with reference phrases for retrieval and their expression formats, and a retrieval information storage means 6 which stores a specified retrieval phrase and retrieval conditions. Then the one-unit data are sectioned with a page change code given at the tail and stored in the document data storage means 4, and information on specific expression format corresponding to the specified retrieval phrase is retrieved by the one-unit data, and the one-unit data are rearranged or selected on the basis of the retrieval information so that the retrieval conditions are met. |
