PURPOSE:To provide the misinput correcting device which can give a priority level to a generated paragraph candidate in consideration of misinput. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an input part 101 for inputting a character string, a dictionary which contains grammatrical information on various words, etc., an extended dictionary retrieval part which extracts information on a word from the dictionary by using the input character string and the corrected character string, obtained by correcting the input character string according to a specific rule, as retrieval character strings, a paragraph candidate generating part 105 generating a paragraph candidate according to information on word extracted from the dictionary, a corrected paragraph quantity priority decision part 110 which sets the priority level of the generated paragraph candidate in consideration of the format of the correction, a correction kind classified order determination part 111, and a corrected character order determination part 112. |
