摘要 PURPOSE:To make power generation control possible depending on SOC without using an SOC sensor. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle electronic control unit (ECU) 24 estimates a charging condition (SOC) of a battery 16 based on a voltage of the battery 16 detected by a voltage sensor 36. The vehicle ECU 24 obtains an output required by a motor 10 on the basis of the number of rotations of motor 10 detected by a sensor 26 for the number of rotations and an opening angle of an accelerator inputted as an accelerator signal. The vehicle ECU 24 makes reference to a map giving correspondence among a battery voltage indicating SOC, the number of rotations of motor, opening degree of the accelerator, power generation output target or battery voltage and gives an instruction to a power generation controller 28 based on the result of such reference in order to control the power generation output of the generator 18. A power generation output of the generator 18 satisfies output requirement of the motor 10 and provides the predetermined SOC value of the battery 16.
