PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost and quiet start control method for image forming equipment that requires no additional mechanism and has stable starting capability. CONSTITUTION:The start control method for image forming equipment uses a stepping motor as a driving motor and is so constituted that driving force is transmitted to a light-sensitive body, a developing means, a fixing means, a paper feeding means and a paper discharging means in the image forming equipment body. In the initial stage of start (700 mA) at the time of steady rotation (1) is supplied. Or, in the initial stage of start, the time interval of driving pulse is controlled to more than ten times the pulse rate at the time of steady rotation (2). Use of (1) and (2) above together is more effective. |
