THERMAL RECORDING LABEL AND PRINTING THEREOF

PURPOSE:To apply favorable printing to a thermal recording label without contaminating a thermal head with uncured UV-curable ink when necessary display is applied to the thermal recording label using the UV-curable ink. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording label 6 is obtained by providing a thermal color forming layer 4 containing a colorless or light-colored dye and an acidic substance as color forming components on the surface of a support l and applying a crosslinkable polymer film protective layer 5 to the color forming layer 4. Pre-printing is applied to the surface of the thermal recording label 6 using a UV curable ink and the printed surface of the label 6 is irradiated with UV rays and UV curable heat-resistant transparent varnish is applied to the pre- printing layer to be irradiated with the UV rays.
