PURPOSE:To easily realize an SS radio network by presenting an effective communication means between the terminal station (slave station) side and the base station side as a radio LAN. CONSTITUTION:A base station 2-1 constitutes the radio LAN of the spread spectrum communication system together with slave stations 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3 in its communication area and successively accesses slave stations 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3 in accordance with polling procedures to not only discriminate the presence or the absence of transmission/reception data but also transmit/receive data. Therefore, it is unnecessary that slave stations 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3 constituting the radio LAN of the base station 2-1 are registered in this base station. Base stations 2-1 and 2-2 are connected to a wire LAN 1 and function as terminals of the wire LAN 1. |
