PURPOSE:To provide a semi-indirect heating-type melting furnace for melting an article subjected to melting through a process of arranging a partition wall provided with gaps between a combustion chamber and a melting chamber, so as to perform combustion. CONSTITUTION:Heat accumulating layers 14 are respectively and integrally formed on two burners 12, 13 attached on a furnace 11 so as to be faced to each other, so as to alternately switch the burners and perform combustion by the specific time (at intervals of dozens of seconds). And a combustion chamber 21 and a melting chamber 22 are partitioned by a partition wall 23, a plurality of gaps 24 are formed on the partition wall 23, and an auxiliary flue 25 for discharging by-product such as dust, low-boiling materials, etc., to be generated in the melting chamber 22 together with a part of combustion exhaust gas is formed in the melting chamber 22. Thereby contamination and clogging are not easily generated on the heat accumulating layers, and frequent cleaning and maintenance are unnecessitated. |
