<p>PURPOSE: To improve the frequency response of radio-frequency operation, by effectively shortening a current path passing a resistor and performing the physical layout, which can perform the effective current distribution. CONSTITUTION: In a thin-film resistor 100, a first electrode 101, a second electrode 102, and a resistor material 103 for the electrically connecting first and second electrodes are included. The first and the second electrodes 101 and 102 have alternately disposed finger groups 104 and 105, respectively, and the resistor 100 is formed of the groups in this way. In the resistor 100, there is a first distance 106. This is the first specified distance indicating the thickness of the resistor material 103 on the first part of the resistor 100. The distance 106 is selected so as to minimize the distance between the electrodes 101 and 102, and reduces the reactance component of the resistor 100. Thus, the uniform distribution of the current is possible in the resistor region, and the high-frequency operation of the resistor is improved.</p> |
