<p>PURPOSE: To simplify the task of a designer to use an input field object by inspecting input data corresponding to inspection data stored as one part of input field designation data and executing a defined processing stage defined in the input field designation data when both the data are coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION: An input field EEF object 560 is displayed on a display screen 590 by a display means 580 at a certain point. When the user of a graphical user interface GUI application inputs characters into an input field, an input/ output means 580 receives the details of these characters. Thus, a presentation manager PM is triggered for sending a specified message to the EEF object, next, an EEF calls back a standard character processing sequence 610 defined in the standard PM input field, the inspection data are accessed, various inspections are executed and required actions are executed.</p> |
