PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device provided with a developing device without image unevenness at a low cost by providing a toner supplying roller which is rotated while coming into contact with a developing roller so as to supply toner thereto and whose surface is made of a conductive material and a grounding means to ground the roller. CONSTITUTION:A developing unit 8 is arranged in proximity to a photoreceptor 9 as an electrostatic latent image holder on which an electrostatic latent image to be developed is formed. In the developing unit 8, the developing roller 17 is constituted in such a manner that the surface layer 17b of a conductive elastic layer is formed on the surface of a metallic shaft 17a and the toner supplying roller 18 is constituted in such a manner that a conductive and elastic sponge 18b is formed on the surface of a metallic shaft 18a. Moreover, the surface layer 18b of the roller 18 is the conductive foamed body of for instance <=10<6>OMEGAcm and the metallic shaft 18a is grounded via the resistor 50 of for instance 15MOMEGA. Thus, triboelectric changes stored on the surface of the rollers 18 and 17 can be eliminated and excessive triboelectric changes to the toner can be eliminated as well. |
