BLOW MOLDED CONTAINER MADE OF POLYPROPYLENE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain a blow molded container made of polypropylene excellent in transparency and surface glossiness by subjecting syndiotactic polypropylene or a compsn. thereof to injection stretch blow molding. CONSTITUTION:As a syndiotactic polypropylene, a homopolymer and/or a propylene/ethylene or alpha-olefin copolymer having a syndiotactic structure can be used. A compsn. pref. consists of 5-95 pts.wt. of sydiotactic polypropylene and 95-5 pts.wt. of isotactic polypropylene. This compsn. is used to mold a bottomed parison and this parison is subjected to stretch blow molding to produce a container.
