OIL RESISTANCE EVALUATING METHOD OF OIL-IMMERSED CAPACITOR POLYPROPYLENE FILM

摘要

PURPOSE:To correctly evaluate oil resistance property of a polypropylene film used for an oil-immersed capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene film of an evaluation object is immersed in aromatic organic solvent whose boiling point is 100 deg.C or higher and is heated at not less than a temperature of a working highest temperature of a capacitor wherein the polypropylene film is used. Then, dielectric tangent of organic solvent is measured and oil resistance of the polypropylene film is evaluated based on the dielectric tangent. Loss of a capacitor wherein a polypropylene film is used can be correctly estimated based on the dielectric tangent.
