<p>PURPOSE:To widen general-purpose properties of a measuring device at the time of fitting to an engine room of a vehicle body, by welding a heating resistor and a temperature-sensitive resistor to one support pin having a conductor divided in two with an insulator interposed and by forming a module of these component to be symmetric laterally. CONSTITUTION:A heating resistor 1 and a temperature-sensitive resistor 5 are welded to a support pin 4 inserted into a support part 3 of a base 2 and they are connected to a drive circuit 7 through aluminum wires 6 and fitted to a bypass air passage 10. A current is made to flow from the drive circuit 7 to the heating resistor 1 and it is corrected by the temperature-sensitive resistor 5 so that a difference between the temperature of the heating resistor 1 and that of intake air be a prescribed one. In other words, a large current is made to flow when a flow rate is high, while a small current is made to flow when the flow rate is low. A current value thereof is measured and the flow rate of the air is detected therefrom. On the occasion, the support pin 4 formed of a conductive layer is divided into two layers, an outside layer and an inside layer, by an intermediate layer formed of an insulator, and the heating resistor 1 or the temperature-sensitive resistor 5 is welded to either of the two layers. A module including the support part 3 is formed to be symmetric laterally. Thereby general-purpose properties for fitting is widened and the kinds of products are reduced.</p> |
