PURPOSE:To manufacture a weather strip for an automobile having a low molding cost and a good appearance. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip for an automobile changed with the cross sectional shape of a hollow section 30 in the longitudinal direction is manufactured. A cross sectional shape changing portion 31 which is part of the hollow section 30 and a cross sectional shape fixed portion 40 constituted of the other portion of the weather strip including the remaining portion of the hollow section 30 and not changed with the extrusion quantity are continuously discharged from the main discharge port 51 of a common mouthpiece 50 by separate extruding machines. The opening level of an auxiliary discharge port 52 communicated with the extruding machine extruding the cross sectional shape changing portion 31 is continuously changed. |
