发明名称 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a reflection surface with a simple and few stages and to make the luminance from an exit surface uniform by forming the reflection surface of a quadratic curve in cross section and applying and mounting a coating material to a base. CONSTITUTION:A tubular light source 1 is formed as an edge light system formed by arranging the light source as to align the center of an incident surface 3 and the center of the tubular diameter of the tubular light source 1 and connecting a reflection mirror 2 to both ends of the incident surface 3 covering the outer periphery of the tubular light source 1. The end of the exit surface 4 is connected to the end of the incident surface 3 so as to intersect orthogonally therewith. A light transmission plate 5 is formed of the curve of the quadratic curve y in section=0.00434x<2> of the angle of inclination increasing the further from the tubular light source 1 in such a manner that the light of the tubular light source 1 is uniformly detected with the reflection surface 7 connected to the end of the one incident surface 3 and the end of the exit surface 4. The base of the reflection surface 7 is coated with a white paint coating material 6. The uniform luminance is known to be obtd. if the luminance at which the quantity of the light reflected by the white paint coating material 6 is emitted at 1 to 10B of the exit surface 4 is measured.
