摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a measuring device of an air flow rate which is not affected by a backflow and avoids erroneous measurement of the flow rate of intake air accompanied by the back-flow, and an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:In addition to a bypass passage 3 used exclusively for measuring a flow rate of intake air 12, a sub-bypass passage 7 used exclusively for leading a backflow 13 to make it escape so that the backflow may not effect an air flow rate measuring means composed of a heating resistor 4 and a temperature- sensitive resistor 5 provided inside the bypass passage 3, by giving a jet flow 22 sideways to the stream of the backflow going up the bypass passage 3, when the backflow 13 is generated, is provided in parallel to the bypass passage 3. A method for making the backflow escape resembles a fluidic control device which controls the stream of the backflow 13 equivalent to an input stream in one direction to be the stream running only along the sub-bypass passage 7, an output stream only in one specified direction, by giving the jet flow 22 being a kind of gate signal sideways.</p>
