PURPOSE:To transmit guidance information quickly and accurately by catching an indication voice for guiding a route under the state corresponding to the driving sensation of a driver. CONSTITUTION:Guidance information regarding the direction of a route change, a distance up to a crossing, etc., at a principal spot, particularly the crossing, where a car must be curve, on a route from a current spot to a destination is output as an indication voice having frequency shift defined in response to the direction and the distance. Since guidance information and the frequency shift of the indication voice are related previously in a stereotyped manner, a driver can recognize the content of guidance information by the indication voice instantaneously by catching the frequency shift of the indication voice. |
