PURPOSE:To inform an operator of the update of initialization and ensure the safety in the period till updating by furnishing a pulse encoder which generates pulse signals in compliance with the rotation of a motor, providing a memory means to store the initialized data of pulse value, and also furnishing a monitoring means and an informing means. CONSTITUTION:The revolving speed of a motor 22 is given by a power window control part 50 in conformity to pulse signals supplied by a pulse encoder 62. The position of a door glass 20 is made sure through counting of the signals given by this pulse encoder 62. Therein the counting value of the pulses is made corresponding to the position of the door glass 20, and when judgement is passed that this data of initialization is not correct, the door glass 20 is sunk a certain amount each time an IG switch 53 is turned on. The operator is informed of the occurrence of a failure and initialization should take place upon full closing, or he should take appropriate measure for making repair. The updated data is stored in memory 50A, and information is issued to actuate the update of the initialization which ensures the safety in the period till the update. |
