PURPOSE:To form an image onto both the ordinary paper and the offset paper without causing the failure by raising the fixing control objective temp., widening the image forming area, and conducting an intermittent operation at the time of consecutive image forming. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the offset mode, after setting the delay time (T1 5sec), the temp. of the heater lamp is lowered to 160 deg.C (standby objective temp. 01) by stopping the power supply to the heater lamp for the prescribed time. Then, the print request for the second paper sheet is set, the attention signal (change from the low level to the high level) is outputted, series of the printing operation is completed and it again becomes the standby state. Consequently, at the time of the offset mode, the complete one-sheet-intermittent mode, in other words, even at the time of consecutive print, the next print is performed while lowering the temp. of the fixing device to the temp. 01, that is, 160 deg.C by the delay time T1. Thus, the fixing quality corresponding to the offset paper is improved since the overshooting can be utilized for every one of the sheet. |
