PURPOSE:To provide a maufacturing method for a connector, the working process of which is facilitated, and to provide a connector, with which the range of materials available is extended. CONSTITUTION:The metal terminal 24, 25 (34, 35) protruded from a core 23 (31) are covered with cylindrical parts (cylindrical part 13a, recessed part 42, and cylindrical part 44) on a metal mold (intermediate metal mold 13, upper metal mold 41, intermediate metal mold 43). After the opening end of the cylindrical part is pushed to the end surface (left surface 23a, end surfaces 32, 33) of the core to close the inside, the outer periphery is formed of resin. Adhesion of resin can be prevented without giving damage to the metal terminal 24, 25 (34, 35), and the manufacturing process is facilitated. Proper resin can be selected for the core 23 (31) and for the outer periphery without bringing the resin of the outer periphery into contact with the part from which the metal terminals 24, 25 (34, 35) are protruded. |
