PURPOSE: To easily and economically coat the inner surface of a metal container by electrostatically depositing a powder material of a specified polyolefin compsn. having a specified form on the objective surface and then melting the powder. CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin compsn. used is selected from polyethylene having 1 to 70 dl/g melt index and polypropylene compsn. such a s propylene crystalline homopolymer having 15 to 150 g/10 min melt index L. The polyolefin compsn. has <600μm particle diameter and shows a particle size distribution with <600μm particle diameter, <=25% of particles having 300 to 450μm diameter and <=10% of particles having >450μm diameter. The polyolefin compsn. is preliminarily melted on the inner surface of the bottom, cap and body of the container, the bottom, cap and body thus processed are assembled to produce 20 to 25 L inner volume, and then the polyolefin compsn. is molten. |
