PURPOSE:To prevent operational troubles by obviating clogging of pipes with decomposition products produced due to deterioration of a heat accumulating material and a heating medium that exchanges heat with the heat accumulating material, and a rise in the internal pressure of a device. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulator has a heat accumulating tank 1, a heat radiator 6, and a circulation path 5 of a heating medium 6. Decomposition products of the heating medium 6 produced in the heat accumulator are removed by providing an additional removal device 10 in which the decomposition products are blown off and discharged outside by an inert gas and recovered by an absorber 9 after cooled down and solidified by a cooling device 8. Therefore, clogging of pipes and a rise in the internal pressure can be avoided without providing deterioration preventive measures. |
