PURPOSE:To obtain a heat accumulator which can prevent deterioration of a heat accumulating material of polymer and a heating medium in liquid phase without a decline in the heat accumulating efficiency, enlargement of a device and an increase in costs. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulator consisting of a heat accumulating tank 1, a heat exchanger 2 and a radiator 4 is added with a vacuum pump 8 and an inert gas filling device 9, and is evacuated so that dewatering treatment takes place and oxygen contained in a heating medium 6 is replaced with the inert gas to remove the causes of deterioration. Therefore, it is not required to encapsulate the heat accumulating material made of polymer in the heat accumulation tank 1, so that direct exchange takes place between the heating medium and the heat accumulating material with an increase in the heat accumulating efficiency. In addition, the packing ratio of the heat accumulating material to the heat accumulating tank 1 is increased, so that the device can be downsized and the cost can be cut down as well. |
