The invention relates to a sliding-door cupboard, comprising a sliding door which is formed by lamellae, wherein the lamellae belonging to a sliding door are connected to one another by means of at least two coupling means which are made from plastic and each extend substantially transversely with respect to the lamella device, the coupling means being formed by links which are each connected to a lamella and are releasably connected to one another in such a manner that they can pivot with respect to one another. Since there is no longer any need for space to be left at the rear wall of the cupboard, this leads to a greater usable depth of the cupboard. The fact that the sliding door according to the invention can be curved through an arc with a small radius allows both parts of the sliding door to be arranged close together, so that only a small thickness is required for the side walls of the cupboard in order to provide space for the sliding door in the folded-open position. The hinge structure preferably comprises at least one pin which is arranged on one side of the link and extends in the direction of the lamellae and at least one eyelet, which is arranged on the other side of the link, for holding the at least one pin of the adjacent link.
