The invention relates to a device for recognizing and/or sorting fruits or vegetables, comprising means (102; 1) intended to light an object (101; 3) to be recognized and/or sorted, emitting at least one incident light beam, means (2) for recovering at least a portion of the light diffused by said object and means (fig. 9) for the analysis of said diffused light, generating an information of recognition and/or sorting representative of said object. According to the invention, said recovering means (2) comprise at least two independent optical receivers (5) which are positioned on different axes which are distinct from the axis of said incident light beam, so that the optical receivers receive distinct diffused light fluxes (203A, 20B) which correspond to portions which are at least partially distinct from said diffused light, and the analysis means (fig. 9) process independently each of said light fluxes (3203A, 203B). |
