PURPOSE:The title wick lubricant usable for a long time at a high temperature, obtained by blending fibrillated aromatic polyamide fibers and a lubricant in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A wick lubricant consisting of a blend of B) 95-85 wt.% of a lubricant (e.g., mineral oil, poly alpha-olefin, silicone oil, etc. having kinematic viscosity of 12-80 centistoke) with A) fibrillated aromatic polyamide fibers shown by the formula. The addition of C) an antioxidant, e.g., dioctyldiphenylamine, etc. improves preferably oxidative stability. |
