<p>Weft thread inserting device in shuttleness looms, with fixed storage bobbins for the weft thread and a pair of oscillatingly moving gripper bars engaging from both sides equally into the shed, wherein in the advanced position of the gripper bars, such as in the centre of the shed, the weft thread is transfered as individual thread from a gripper head mounted at the forward end of one gripper bar to a gripper head mounted at the forward end of the outer gripper bar. The gripper heads are equipped with clamp, for example levers for the weft thread actuable positively from the outside by for example, levers, connected to the main drive of the loom, in order to grip and to release the weft thread.</p> |
