<p>A device for sorting chips on gaming tables 1 has, underneath the gaming table, an endless conveyor 6 for the chips thrown in via a throw-in orifice 3. To obtain an automatic sorting of the chips and their storage in vertical stacks, the endless conveyor 6 is equipped with receiving plates arranged vertically movably and intended for the thrown-in chips, and arranged in the direction of movement of the endless conveyor 6 are a device for bringing the chips into a horizontal position, subsequently a colour recognition and reading head 7 and, following this, a plurality of chip cylinders 8, each of which is assigned to a predetermined type of chip. The colour recognition and reading head 7 controls lifting and guiding members which lift a chip and guide it into the associated chip cylinder 8, and guided in each chip cylinder 8 is a lifter which, when a predetermined number of chips is reached, deposits these in a vertical stack above the table 1. <IMAGE></p> |
