The invention improves the bulb spacer for the electron gun of the braun tube. The method for manufacturing the electron gun has the steps of bending the bulb spacer(21) of a single metal, welding the spacer on the outside of shield cup(17), and welding the ends(22,23) of the metal on bead glasses of electron gun. It is made easier to manufacture and install the electron gun. And the improved voltage-resistance of the gun is increased by reducing dark currents.
